If sports got reported like science
This has to be one of the better pieces of science-themed satire I’ve read recently, and really hits the nail on the head. What? A nail? Oh I’m sorry. A nail is a small metal spike with a flat ‘head’ typically driven through two or more pieces of material (often wood) to hold them together. Huh? No I can’t explain “to hold them together” in simpler terms. What do you mean you don’t believe I don’t have any right to be deciding what is and isn’t held together? Wait, what has my mother got to do with this? You’re not making sense. Oh, so now I’m the bad guy because I’m not respecting your opinion? …that’s what I get for trying to use a metaphor.
